Responsibilities Of Intern:
- Offer professional help, as directed by a CCAoA staff member, to achieve the unit’s daily goals.
- Engages in projects and programs that aim to enhance their professional skills and knowledge in alignment with the organization’s requirements.
- Involved in the planning and execution of projects and initiatives that fall within their area of knowledge and specialization.
- Working closely with colleagues and other individuals within or outside the organization to plan tasks and find solutions to everyday operational issues.
- Individuals are provided with guidance, training, and mentoring by experienced staff members to assist them in effectively planning and executing tasks and projects.
- If required by the position and as instructed by unit management, the individual may carry out research, analyze the data, and create reports with suggestions or alternative plans for action and assigned tasks.
- Completes other tasks as instructed.
Abilities and Expertise:
- An undergraduate or graduate student studying a related subject can participate in the department’s internship program, such as Finance & Accounting, Policy and Advocacy, Fundraising and Development, or IT & Digital Services.
- The qualifications needed for this position can be met through a combination of education, training, and experience that shows the capability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities outlined.
- Follow instructions, both written and verbal, and technical plans with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Be able to effectively convey information through speaking and writing.
- Develop and sustain positive and productive interactions with colleagues and peers.
- Ensure that meetings and deadlines are met according to the established schedules. Keep sensitive and privileged information confidential.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students who fulfill the specified criteria are qualified to submit their applications for the Summer Internship Program.
- Currently attending a college or university that is recognized and approved by an official organization.
- To be eligible, the student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and must be performing well academically.
